What is your greatest accomplishment? What was the journey to get there?

View other answers

Oh god giving birth! No matter how old you are, or what people say nine months do not prepare you for motherhood. I mean yes you have this large belly growing getting bigger, and bigger, swollen feet, energy at times, at times you fall asleep at any time throughout the days, your emotions are out of whack and you get bitchier than usual. But when the pain starts and you are strap to the steel table surrounded by doctors and nurses it hits you the little person who has been kicking you is about to come out., you are about to become a mother. Now thats scary. think about it for a second you become at that moment as you push the baby out or its cut out of you responsible for another human being who can turn out to be the next Kurt Cobain, Charles Manson, Jennifer Lopez , Hilary Clinton ect you really dont know. So after enduring this twice and thinking the same thing twice as I was laying on the steel table I have to say my greatest accomplishment have to be Emma and Ali. A silent prayer they are both the next jlo or hilarie clinton. But no matter what the journey of motherhood is my greatest accomplisment. and yes this is corny but hell.

A psychiatrist was conducting a group therapy session with four young mothers and their small children.

'You all have obsessions,' he observed. To the first mother, Mary: You are obsessed with eating. You've even named your daughter Candy.'

'He turned to the second Mom, Ann: 'your obsession is with money.  Again, it manifests itself in your child's name, Penny.'

He turned to the third Mom, Joyce: 'your obsession is alcohol. This too shows itself in your child's name, Brandy.'

At this point, the fourth mother, Kathy, quietly got up, took her little boy by the hand and whispered, 'Come on, Dick, we're leaving.
